Dead Beard Brewing Co.

A Brand Identity doesn’t just sell beer. It tells a story with every pour.

The founders — a pair of best friends with beards, tattoos, and a shared obsession with brewing — had always joked that if they weren’t making beer, they’d be sailing the high seas. That energy? It’s baked into every part of the brand. They came to me with a vision: make it look like a brewery run by a retired pirate who got really good at hops. No clean lines. No fake polish. Just something real, raw, and full of character — like the people behind it. The logo became the centerpiece: a hand-drawn skull with a wild beard in the shop of a hop flower. It’s weird, it’s memorable, and it feels like a stamp you’d find on a smuggled barrel. From there, I built out the full identity — distressed type, sea-worn textures, illustrated labels, and packaging that feels like it’s been passed through a few storms.
